Organise material, width, print, quantity, samples, supply format and shipping requirements before requesting a ribbon or textile-tape quote.
Name the product and explain what it will do. Identify whether it is decorative packaging, a permanent textile component or another application. This is the starting point for material and performance questions.
Provide target width, length requirements and any known base material or construction. Ask the supplier to confirm available options and tolerances. Do not assume a standard roll length or minimum order.
Identify the artwork version, print size, repeat and finish. Describe any special effect as a desired outcome until its method and compatibility are confirmed. Keep the approved reference with the order specification.
State a quantity and unit. Ask for MOQ, sample charges, tooling or setup charges where applicable, price basis and quote validity. Confirm what must be approved before production starts.
Request confirmation of roll or cut format, packaging and identification. Include destination and timing. Ask for a clear distinction between estimated production, dispatch and transit—not one ambiguous delivery promise.
